Renae Rivere

After studying a Diploma in Outdoor Leadership, Renae’s early career focussed on helping young people develop leadership skills and environmental literacy on wilderness expeditions. Through this work, she saw the benefits that spending time in nature has on people’s well-being, and gained a deep internal motivation to ensure we conserve and maintain our natural environment.  In 2008, an opportunity to bring her 2 passions together presented itself in the form of a role at CVA, and in the 15 years since she’s held many different roles across NSW and more recently, Tasmania.

As a dedicated environmental advocate and community leader Renae has found her background in environmental education and project management skills, coupled with a recently gained Bachelor of Arts majoring in Anthropology and Archaeology, uniquely positions her to lead a team of dedicated staff to tackle conservation challenges across the country.
