Public Vote Open for Chevron Nature in Focus Photography Competition

We had such a good turn out of entries for the Chevron Nature In Focus Photography Competition. You check out the entries here!

From 20 November the Public Vote for the Peoples Choice Award will be open. It will closes 5pm, 4th December (AEDT).

Vote for your favourite photo and see who wins! Instructions are simple:

  • Visit the Gallery page, and choose a category.
  • Click on the photo you want to cast your vote for. You will be prompted to enter an email address. When you enter your email address you will be sent a unique token to that address that you’d need to click so the vote can be validated.
  • Voters receive one vote per category. You cannot vote for yourself.
  • Anyone can vote, so please feel free to share with friends and family.

The winners of the Peoples Choice Award, the Judges Vote and the Lyn Beazley Encouragement Award will be announced on December 6 here on the CVA website and the winners notified by email.

The People’s Choice Award will be decided by vote on CVA’s social media

The Lyn Beazley Encouragement Award acknowledges students who demonstrate a connection with Australia’s biodiversity and show promise in their ability to express themselves through photography. *Students who identify with a disability or learning difficulty are eligible for this award.

Lyn was Western Australia’s Chief Scientist from 2006 to 2013 and has been a long-time ambassador and judge in the Chevron Focus Environment Competition. She believes that the photographic lens can help inspire people to protect Australia’s precious environment.
