Reasons to Enter

Nature in Focus isn’t just about taking stunning photos — it’s about telling the stories of our wild places, native species, and the people protecting them. From a kangaroo in your local park to an early morning coastline, every photo has the power to inspire.

This photo contest is open to all Australian residents. There are categories for adults and juniors, and you don’t need to be a professional photographer to submit an entry.

What You Could Win: Prizes and Awards

With nearly $8,000 worth of prizes up for grabs across multiple age groups and camera types, there’s a category for everyone — whether you’re a professional photographer or just starting out with your smartphone.

With divisions for kids, teens, smartphone users, and professionals, anyone can participate!
