Coastal 20 Wetlands Project

WetlandCare Australia, now merged with Conservation Volunteers, celebrated its 20th birthday with the 4-year Coastal 20 Wetlands Project commencing in 2010. This $2.5 million project was funded under the Australian Government’s Caring for Country program. The Coastal 20 Wetland Project enabled WetlandCare Australia to work in partnership with community, government and industry bodies to undertake the restoration of 20 iconic coastal wetlands. Coastal 20 Video

WetlandCare Australia’s Coastal 20 Wetlands Project rehabilitated 20 iconic wetlands in northern NSW and south east Queensland. With funding support from the Australian Government’s Caring for our Country Program. This video highlights three of those sites and was developed by TAFE North Coast students (2013).
