COVID-19 April Update

COVID-19 Update : Limited Capacity & Towards Digital Engagement

This is an update on our work in the context the COVID-19 pandemic.

On 18 March we suspended in-person volunteering due to the risks presented by COVID-19.

Now, effective Monday 6th April, several parts of our organisation will be in stand down for four weeks due to further impacts of the coronavirus pandemic on our organisation. This stand down period will be reviewed towards the end of the four weeks and will be extended if necessary. During this time if you’re contacting our staff, you may receive an automated message to let you know how and where to redirect your enquiry.

We will continue to operate in a limited capacity within the stand down period.

During this time we will be delivering on some of our initiatives through digital community engagement methods which we’ll share more about in the coming weeks.

CVA will continue and we are actively working on our immediate and future plans to provide community engagement services that nurture healthy communities and resilient ecosystems across Australia.

Many thanks for your support online, it’s meant a lot to our team to know that our volunteers, project partners, supporters and wider community are keen for us to be back out in the community as soon as we are able, to provide opportunities for people to roll up their sleeves and make a difference.
