Bridgestone Australia and Conservation Volunteers Australia both share a commitment to support projects that benefit the natural environment.

Bridgestone Australia is a multinational auto and truck parts manufacturer, a subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation. Bridgestone has a strong environmental conscience, investing millions to support and protect the local environment through their product innovation.

As part of Bridgestone’s  commitment to the community and a sustainable environment they have committed to planting 10,000 trees.  Falling under Bridgestone’s Tomorrow Matters campaign, for every set of Bridgestone Ecopia tyres sold in-stores a tree will be planted.

Conservation Volunteers Australia will coordinate the planting of the 10,000 trees at key conservation sites across Australia throughout 2015-16.

Bridgestone Australia’s first supported Conservation Volunteers Australia as part of our World Environment Day Tree Planting Challenge on  5 June 2015.  Employees from Bridgestone Australia volunteered their time to plant trees in Kersbrook, South Australia, supporting landowners that had been impacted by the Adelaide Hills fires.

Conservation Volunteers Australia will be holding the World Environment Day Tree Planting Challenge again in 2016.Gecko thumbnail
