Pioneering Conservation Efforts: A Year in Review

As the year reaches its end, we’re thrilled to highlight the remarkable efforts carried out by our CVA team in 2023, including our conservation experts, on-ground staff, and nationwide volunteers.

We’ve achieved a lot this year, from launching Nature Blocks, deepening cultural fire learning, planting our first Urban Shade Forest, to our #SeaToSource campaign, and restoring Glossy Black Cockatoos’ habitat. Each initiative has provided limitless opportunities for communities to connect deeply with nature and make a significant positive impact towards preserving Australia’s unique biodiversity. We also want to express our gratitude to all our partners, without whom these efforts wouldn’t have been possible.

Our Actions for Nature in 2023:

🌱 Number of Volunteer Actions: 7,793

🌱 Number of Volunteer Hours Contributed: 43,163

In this newsletter, we reflect on some of the remarkable initiatives we empowered this year.
