Do you want to help nature where you live?

Did you know Australia holds the unenviable record for the largest number of mammal and bird extinctions in the world?

Our wild places and native species face significant pressure from a range of threats including the loss of habitat in our expanding towns and cities.

With more than 370 threatened animal species living in Australian cities we all have a role in protecting and restoring biodiversity and reconnecting with nature and our community.

CVA is urging that we collectively work towards making 30% of our available urban spaces into havens for Australian wildlife, protecting our threatened species and preventing others from being added to the endangered list.

How do I build a Nature Block?

CVA is actively facilitating the development of a nationwide network that collaborates to establish Nature Blocks throughout Australia.

We can guide you to create your own Nature Block by joining our CVA Nature Hub online.

You’ll gain access to simple step-by-step guides, joining a community of like-minded people, all helping nature to flourish.

Our CVA Nature Hub simplifies the process of selecting, organizing, readying, generating, and maintaining your Nature Block. In addition, you will become part of a nationwide community of individuals who are working towards the preservation of nature and exchanging experiences and accomplishments.

With millions of people across Australia living in urban areas, it’s more important than ever to consider how we can take action for nature. We hope you’ll join us!
