Animals across the country are at threat after the bushfires, with homes lost and nowhere safe to start new families.

Now is your chance to get together your colleagues and make a difference for birds, gliders, possums and more! Get involved in our latest Corporate Challenge Series event to create new homes for threatened species across the country with your own hands. Suitable for all organisations, you and your corporate team will work together to create a variety of habitats, from insect hotels to nesting boxes. Teams will join our animal home experts and will be provided with all the tools and materials to create as many top-notch homes as they can over two hours. It’s a great way to connect and make a difference for our precious wild neighbours.

This event is part of our Corporate Challenge Series and will take place on Thursday 7th October in celebration of World Habitat Day.

World Habitat Day aims to reflect on the condition of our towns and cities as well as the basic right of all to adequate shelter. It’s also a reminder that we have the power and responsibility to shape the future of these spaces.

Did you know that even small hollows that many of our native animals and birds rely on for a roof over their head, take on average 100 years to form?!

This challenge contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs) 3, 13, 15, 17.

Corporate teams of up to 10 participants will take part in capital cities around the country to create as many homes as possible on the same day. Spaces are limited so register your interest below to secure your team’s place. There is a $3,000 registration fee per team and each corporate will only be allowed to enter one team per location – check the table below for more information.
