Community engagement means many things, to many people.

With nearly 40 years of experience operating in this field, and 100’s of years of experience across our team, we have developed and honed our own practice, through which we achieve a broad spectrum of social and environmental outcomes.

Community engagement is at our core

Our practice is informed by the fields of community development, movement building and mobilisation, and public participation. However our team comes from a wide background of disciplines and industries and are skilled in applying this practice to involving and empowering communities in environmental initiatives that allow people to take action for nature.

Community Engagement Spectrum

Our community engagement practice is applied throughout our Campaigns in order to:

  • Deliver practical environmental outcomes to nurture resilient ecosystems
  • Deliver clear benefits to individuals and groups to foster healthy communities
  • Cultivate behaviours and mindsets in the people who are involved in our projects, and across our wider audience that result in a culture of stewardship across Australia

 

We work with partners across Government, Corporate and Community sectors to collaboratively develop Campaign Projects which deliver social and environmental outcomes through community engagement.

 

Whether you’re interested in building social license for your organisation, or engaging citizens in the care of our land, we believe that the intersection of these motivations is fundamentally about Trust.

Building trust is at the root of our community engagement practice, from which together we can grow positive outcomes for communities and nature, which enrich our lives – from the liveability of our homes and wild places to the relationships which support us to thrive.
