Congratulations to the winner of our 2017 Go Wild Photo Prize

Go Wild Photo Prize Winner – Robert Nylander

Congratulations to one of Conservation Volunteers Australia’s (CVA) long standing volunteers, Robert Nylander, who has won the national Go Wild Photo Prize for 2017!

The winning photo taken by Robert is of a ‘Magnificent Blue Wren’, taken in the John Graham Reserve, Coogee.

As part of our national wildlife conservation program, Wild Futures, and to celebrate biodiversity month and threatened species day throughout September, we invited individuals and groups to ‘Go Wild’ and capture their experience in the natural environment.

CVA’s Wild Futures program supports the recovery of threatened species by providing practical on-ground action to conserve Australia’s unique plants and animals in line with approved plans.  We focus on a range of species and threatening processes across Australia, and working with recovery teams and other experts, we assemble new resources and eager volunteers to create a wilder future for our unique flora and fauna.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in Going Wild for Wild Futures!
