Program Coordinator Earth Assist – Perth, WA

Full Time, 18 month contract

Conservation Volunteers is Australia and New Zealand’s largest practical conservation organization engaging more than 12,500 volunteers in over 2,000 important environmental projects every year. Conservation Volunteers Australia offers Primary and High School students the opportunity to engage in practical conservation projects at their school and in the community through the Earth Assist Program.   The Earth Assist Program Coordinator will liaise with project partners and key government bodies including the Department of Education, the Department of Parks and Wildlife and Murdoch University to coordinate the activities relating to the Earth Assist Program.

For success in this role, you will need:

  • knowledge and experience in project coordination and management
  • qualifications in Conservation and Land Management and Education
  • confidence in making presentations to individuals and groups
  • good organisational skills

Sound knowledge of practical terrestrial conservation activities and the ability to complete simple reports in a timely manner would be desirable.

Essential Qualifications

A full Driver’s license, Senior First Aid, Defensive Driving certificate, a Working with Children Check, OH&S and experience in project coordination and management are essential to ensure the safety of our volunteers.
