Community Tree Planting for Mother’s Day

Looking for a rewarding way to spend Mother’s Day? Come along to a tree planting day at Cudgen Nature Reserve near Cabarita Beach.

Project partners Conservation Volunteers, Friends of Cudgen Nature Reserve, National Parks and Wildlife Service, Tweed Shire Council and Friends of the Koala are working to repair over 1 ha of Koala habitat in the reserve to help protect the declining Tweed Coast Koala population.

Where: Cudgen Nature Reserve.
When: Sunday 14th May 2017.
Time: 9:30 am till 1:00 pm (lunch provided).

What to Bring: Plenty of water, a hat, sturdy shoes and gloves (we will have sunscreen, extra water and some spare gloves available on the day).

Meeting point is Sliprails Rd, off Clothiers Creek Rd, near Cabarita Beach/Bogangar.
