University of Newcastle Landcare Day

Meet at Warabrook train station, University of Newcastle, Callaghan campus

The University of Newcastle (UON) Landcare group, Tom Farrell Institute and Conservation Volunteers Australia are hosting a UON Landcare campus day meeting at Warabrook train station, University of Newcastle, Callaghan campus at 10am. Join volunteers in weeding and bush regeneration activities to help support the previous UON Landcare works and promote the image of the university as a natural bushland campus.

Meet like-minded people, get active and give back to our local environment by caring for the native flora in our region. All tools and training provided.

Community members and volunteers of all ages and experience are invited to come along, contribute to our previous landcare works and discover nature on their doorstep. Free lunch will be served after the bush regeneration activities.
