Conservation Volunteers Australia has partnered with individuals, businesses and governments in the conservation of our unique environment since 1982. In that time we have welcomed hundreds of thousands of volunteers from around Australia and across the world and supported their participation in a diversity of important projects to protect and enhance our environment.
Conservation Volunteers Australia has been appointed as the only national Service Provider of the Federal Government’s Green Army programme, a hands-on, practical environmental action programme that supports local environment and heritage conservation projects across Australia.
The MERIT Coordinator – Green Army plays an integral role in maintaining effective communications and reporting into MERIT, the Department of Environment’s online environmental reporting system. The role will be responsible for the coordination and completion of timely and accurate MERIT reports of all Green Army projects managed by CVA.
For success in this role, it is necessary to have:
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills and previous experience in database and web systems
- Ability to multi-task and meet set deadlines
- Previous experience in a business support role
- Excellent written and verbal communication
